As the load cells are resistant to sideloads and overloads, they do not require frequent recalibrations. Unlike strain gauge systems, Eilersen load cells allow easy cable replacement and are not dependent on certain cable lengths. Load cell cables can be replaced individually if damaged, without compromising the system integrity. Additionally, digital capacitive load cells enable diagnostics on individual load cells, meaning that if a problem should arise, it is fast and easy to identify and fix the issue, thus minimizing downtime.
